Waste Aware North Lanarkshire - Green Waste Kerbside Recycling

Households in Motherwell and parts of the Dalziel estate have provided with a brown bin in which they can recycle green waste. This scheme began on the 26th of May, 2003.

Residents of Viewpark, Tannochside and Fallside, have been provided with a BioBag for the collection of green waste. This scheme began on the 23rd June 2003.

Please place the following in your brown bin or BioBag:

  • Flowers & Plants
  • Grass Cuttings
  • Hedge Trimmings
  • Leaves
  • Twigs
  • Small Branches & Bark

Please do not use plastic bags.

Your BioBag or brown bin will be collected fortnightly and should be put out on the kerbside by 7am on your collection day.
