Waste Aware Clackmannanshire - Kerbside Recycling

The Waste Aware Clackmannanshire Kerbside Recycling service was launched on the 8th of September 2003 to promote the existing blue box and blue bag kerbside recycling service which is in place across most of Clackmannanshire.

You have already been provided with a blue box and blue bag in which to recycle your cans, glass, paper and textiles.

If you do not have a blue box/bag please call 0500 545 540 to find out whether your household is covered by this service.

Please put the following recyclates (materials that can be recycled) into your blue box:

  • cans
  • glass
  • textiles

Please put the following recyclates into your blue bag:

  • paper (catalogues, junk mail, magazines and newspapers)

Help us to get it sorted.

Please rinse your cans and glass before placing them in your blue box. Your blue bag should be placed in your blue box. If you do not have a blue bag please place your paper recyclates into a carrier bag before placing them in your blue box.

It is important that only the correct materials go into your blue bag as this makes the sorting process easier. Please do not place any sticky labels or Yellow Pages in your blue bag.

If you are unsure about when you blue box and blue bag will be emptied please call 0500 545 540 or email wasteservices@clacks.gov.uk.
