Lothian & Borders: Campaigns

SWAG has carried out surveys in the 5 Local Authority areas of the Lothian & Borders Waste Strategy Area. This was done in order to determine public attitudes and behaviour towards waste. Based on this, we are developing campaigns to engage members of the public in more sustainable waste managment.

West Lothian Campaigns:
SWAG is currently campaigning to engage residents of West Lothian in a Kerbside Recycling Collection scheme in the Linlithgow area.

At the present time, SWAG is currently in discussion with East Lothian Council, Midlothian Council, Edinburgh City Council and Scottish Borders Council. We hope that we will soon be able to run campaigns in partnership with this Local Authorities.

Beth Williams and David Gunn are the Campaign Assistants responsible for the Lothian & Borders Waste Strategy Area.
