Forth Valley: Campaigns

Public Attitudes to Waste

SWAG has carried out surveys in the Forth Valley area to gather information about peoples' attitudes and their wants and needs regarding waste. Based on this, a campaign is being developed to boost awareness and provide information.

At the present time, SWAG is currently in discussion with Clackmannanshire and Falkirk Councils. We will soon be running campaigns in partnership with these Local Authorities.

Waste Aware Clackmannanshire Campaigns:
SWAG is currently campaigning to engage residents of Clackmannanshire in the following kerbside collection schemes:

Waste Aware Falkirk Campaigns:
SWAG is currently campaigning to engage residents of Falkirk in the following kerbside collection schemes:

Waste Aware Stirling Campaigns:
83% of people surveyed in the Stirling area told us that they would like to recycle at the kerbside. Stirling Council has recently distributed SWAG materials to help promote their kerbside collection scheme.
