West Fife Paper Recycling Collection

This scheme became available to 18,000 households on the 30th June 2003, and is being expanded to serve a further 28,000 households over the next few months. A blue bin has been provided to allow YOU to recycle YOUR waste paper.

The scheme was launched by Ross Finnie, Minister for the Environment and Rural Affairs.

If you live in one of the households covered by this scheme, you can recycle the following in your BLUE bin:

  • brochures
  • catalogues
  • envelopes
  • junk mail
  • leaflets
  • magazines
  • newspapers
  • office paper

Please help us to get it sorted: do not place any of the following in your BLUE bin:

  • cardboard
  • plastic
  • telephone directories or Yellow Pages


Your BLUE bin will be collected monthly. Please ensure that your BLUE bin is out on the kerbside by 7am on your collection day.
