Glasgow & Clyde Valley: Introduction

This Waste Strategy Area consists of the Local Authority areas of Glasgow, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire.

In 1998, the Clyde Valley produced 4,800,000 tonnes of waste were produced. Of this, 745,377 tonnes came from households.
