Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway: Campaigns

In 2002, SWAG carried out a survey in Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway in order to determine public attitudes and behaviour towards waste. Based on this, we are developing campaigns to engage members of the public in more sustainable waste management.

South Ayrshire Campaigns:
SWAG is currently campaigning to engage residents of North Lanarkshire in the following kerbside collection schemes:


At the present time, SWAG is currently in discussion with East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, South Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway Councils. We hope that we will soon be able to run campaigns in partnership with this Local Authority.
