Waste Aware Argyll & Bute Paper and Cardboard Kerbside Collection

This scheme begins on the 20th October 2003. This scheme is available to households on the islands of Mull and Islay. A blue bin has been provided to allow YOU to recycle YOUR waste paper and cardboard.

WHAT can I recycle?

If you live in one of the households covered by this scheme, you can recycle the following in your BLUE bin:

  • cardboard
  • computer paper
  • contents of junk mail (no envelopes)
  • magazines
  • newspapers
  • writing paper

Please help us to get it sorted: do not place any any other material in your BLUE bin:

Please ensure that your blue bin is placed on the kerbside by 8am on the day of your collection. Your blue bin will be collected fortnightly.
