Cartridge World embarks on unique tree planting incentive with the RSA

An innovative new tree planting partnership has been agreed between Cartridge World and the RSA.

Cartridge World, a successful franchise business with over 260 stores nationwide, refills and remanufactures inket and laser cartridges thereby allowing consumers to save money and, by recycling their cartridges, help the environment.

At a time when as a nation we throw in excess of 40 million ink cartridges and 7 million laser toner cartridges into landfill sites every year, Cartridge World's business ethos of 'Refill not Landfill' complements perfectly the RSA's manifesto challenge of moving towards a zero-waste society.

As part of an ongoing partnership, Cartridge World will also be helping the RSA celebrate it's 250th Anniversary by embarking on a national tree planting initiative and awareness campaign, carrying the hard-hitting slogan, 'Plant a Tree Not A Cartridge'.

6,000 trees will be planted at designated planting sites across the UK over the next 12 months, half of which will be used to create the company's very own Cartridge World wood as part of the RSA's 250th Anniversary Wood in the National Forest.

To help achieve this, Cartridge World has launched a loyalty card scheme. Customers will receive a stamp every time they refill existing printer cartridges and toners and for every eight stamps received a new tree will be planted. While collecting stamps, customers are entitled to receive discounts off their refills.
