This campaign began on Monday 24th October 2005. Residents were introduced to the scheme by means of a Waste Aware Edinburgh Postcard.

PAPER POINT & PACKAGING POINTS SCHEME
Currently over 7000 households in the Hillside/Pilrig, Polwarth, Roseburn, Meadowbank and Piershill areas have been provided with a local Paper Point and a Packaging Point to recycle their paper and packaging waste, as detailed below:

Part of the campaign involves the delivery of leaflets, which provide further details of the scheme. The leaflet aims to answer questions like 'WHO should recycle?', 'WHAT can I recycle?', 'WHY should I recycle?' and 'WHEN can I recycle?'.
