Pilot Tenement Recycling

Campaign Launch

A pre-pilot campaign began in December 2004. Letters and leaflets were delivered to households in Gorgie, Edinburgh, who were provided with communal on-street Paper and Packaging Points.

This campaign expanded in July 2005 when 150 households in Dalry were provided with the same service as part of a 1-year pilot with the Scottish Executive. Postcards were used to introduce residents to the pilot scheme.
