This campaign began with a Waste Aware East Dunbartonshire teaser campaign in November 2004.
Householders were introduced to the kerbside recycling scheme by a Waste Aware East Dunbartonshire teaser campaign. The teaser campaign aimed to raise anticipation among residents of East Dunbartonshire with the message '87% of people living in East Dunbartonshire want to recycle at home. (We're starting in early 2005)'
This statistic was taken from the Public Attitudes to Waste in East Dunbartonshire report, and referred to the percentage of people in East Dunbartonshire willing to participate in a kerbside recycling collection.
