The BIG Recycle for Scotland 2006

As part of the BIG Recycle for Scotland 2006, we offered you the chance to win one of three recycled goody bags, just by answering this simple question.  A top prize of one family ticket for The Hampden Experience, including a tour of Hampden Park Stadium and a visit to the Scottish Football Museum, was also up for grabs.

In Scotland last year, how much

did the average household’s recycling weigh?

The same as…

a) 1 World Cup trophy?

b) 3.7 World Cup trophies?

c) 37 World Cup trophies?

Lots of you correctly guessed that the average Scottish household recycled the equivalent weight of (c) 37 World Cup trophies last year.  We picked one first prize winner and two runners up at random.

The winner of the Hampden Experience was Yvonne D’Ambruoso from Aberdeenshire.

The two runners up were Melanie Anderson from North Ayrshire and Ian Magee from Dumfries & Galloway.
